The newest Masala Bazaar store located in Smethwick, nr Birmingham has achieved a 5 star Hygiene rating from the local health authority of Sandwell. The Food Standards Agency award the ratings to all food premises and outlets throughout the country and Masala Bazaar are thrilled to yet again be awarded with the ultimate hygiene rating. The ethnic food supplier based in Cape Hill was recently opened in June 2012 and employs seven people. To get such a high rating in such a short time reflects the outlets’ dedication to their customers.

Customers of the store can now be comforted in the knowledge that their local supermarket can boast such a high state of cleanliness in food storage and preparation. Manager of the store Afsor Ali hopes the accolade will further encourage new customers in and around the Birmingham area to visit.
