Our next traditional Bengali dish is perfect if you need a nutritional pick-me-up.
The Cauliflower and Pea Bhajii (pictured below) is rich with vitamin A, B and C, as well as sporting sinus clearing ingredients such as ginger, cumin and chillis. The delicate and sweet flavoring of the cauliflower and pea, perfectly compliments the coriander and heartily absorbs the sauce.
The dish is light, bright and most of all, tasty. The bhajii would be a perfect starter at a dinner party, because it has a complex taste and aroma which makes it intriguingly exotic. However, it has an airy delicacy which would perfectly start a meal. Whats more, it is remarkabley simple to make.
